Neil Cawthorne was an artist who Seagram commissioned annually during their sponsorship of the Grand National. Many of his paintings have been reproduced as limited edition prints. Those who have his work in private collections include HRH The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Beaufort and Lord Harrington. The above painting shows Red Rum, (far left) who first won the Grand National in 1973 and then went on to win the race two more times. The artist also painted an oil painting of Red Rum with Tommy Stack up, and this was made into limited edition prints.
